About Diwali Celebrations 2024

The Diwali Celebration 2024, organized by the Department of CSE - Data Science in association with the Entertainment Club, took place on October 30, 2024 in the Main Seminar Hall. The event celebrated the victory of good over evil and brought students and faculty together in a vibrant display of culture, unity, and artistic expression.

Event Highlights:

1. Flash Mob
"flash mob is a group of people who spontaneously assemble in a public place, perform for a short time, and then quickly disperse. They are typically organized through communication channels like social media or emails. The activity performed can be anything from dancing to singing to a skit, and the goal is often entertainment or artistic expression" blended tradition with innovation, encouraging students to celebrate cultural values in meaningful, contemporary ways.

2. Narak Chaturdashi
The burning of Narakasura's effigy is part of the Narak Chaturdashi festival.
