About Sankrathi Celebrations 2025

The Department of Data Science (DS) in collaboration with the Entertainment Club at PSCMR College celebrated a vibrant and culturally rich Sankranti festival on January 10, 2025. The event, held with great enthusiasm, brought together students and faculty to mark the auspicious occasion with a series of engaging and creative activities.

Event Highlights:

1. Traditional Idol Decoration: Students showcased their artistic prowess by creating intricate and colorful Rangolis, a quintessential part of Sankranti celebrations. Each team meticulously designed traditional patterns using vibrant powders, transforming the campus grounds into a beautiful tapestry of art. The designs reflected themes of prosperity, harvest, and new beginnings, truly embodying the spirit of Sankranti. The judges had a delightful challenge in selecting the winners, given the high level of talent displayed by all participants.
